Social Nature Movement (SNM) is a New Zealand outdoor education provider creating immersive, educational and adventure-based experiences that connect young people with nature, culture and one another.
We design and deliver immersive outdoor education programmes, school camps and adventure experiences throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, helping students build confidence, resilience, leadership and teamwork while developing a genuine connection with nature, culture and their communities.
Our programmes are more than a collection of activities. Every experience is thoughtfully designed around your school’s objectives, your students and the environment you are exploring. From a single outdoor education day to a multi-day school camp, our experienced faculty work alongside teachers to create programmes that are educational, adventurous, inclusive and memorable.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
SNM programmes can be tailored to support Health & Physical Education, Science, Geography, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Outdoor Education, Social Sciences and Māori perspectives, while developing practical life skills that students carry well beyond camp.
We work with schools across Auckland and throughout New Zealand, delivering programmes at established campgrounds, regional parks, conservation areas, beaches, forests, privately own land and other carefully selected outdoor environments.
Our approach combines professional outdoor leadership with meaningful education and genuine adventure. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, work together, take responsibility and discover what they are capable of, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the incredible natural and cultural environment around them.
With Social Nature Movement, school camp becomes more than a trip away. It becomes an experience students remember, learn from and carry with them.
