Profile
The Lodge at Dunedin Holiday Park provides a convenient and flexible group accommodation option for schools visiting Dunedin. Located in St Kilda, the lodge is close to the city while offering enough space and facilities for school groups to run their programmes with ease.
The Lodge can sleep up to 50 guests, making it suitable for class groups, sports teams, or combined school activities. There are 12 private lodge rooms, and each room has its own ensuite bathroom. Sleeping arrangements can be adjusted across the rooms to suit the needs of the group.
One of the key advantages of the Lodge is its self-contained design. Groups booking the Lodge have exclusive use of the large communal kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with ovens, cooktops, microwaves, fridge/freezers, cookware, cutlery, and utensils. This makes it simple for schools to prepare meals on site and manage catering for their students. The dining area provides plenty of space for eating together, holding group meetings, or running indoor activities.
For bedding, a bottom sheet and pillow are provided in each room. Guests are asked to bring their own sleeping bags or duvets and towels, although these can also be hired if required.
The Lodge is well suited for schools because of its combination of private rooms, ensuite bathrooms, and large shared facilities. Having everything under one roof makes supervision easier for teachers and parent helpers.
Bookings for the Lodge can only be made directly with reception and are not available online. This ensures that schools are able to discuss their needs in advance and secure the facilities for exclusive group use.
Dunedin Holiday Park’s Lodge is a practical choice for schools needing group accommodation in Dunedin.
