Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp provides a unique island-based setting for school camps and other groups. Located in the Hauraki Gulf and accessible by ferry from Auckland. The camp is surrounded by native bush, coastline, and open farmland, creating a rich environment for outdoor learning and adventure.
Facilities include 4 large 45 bed Dormitories, a Beach Front 34 bed Lodge and 10 bed Cottage, a large dining hall, kitchen, breakout rooms, and recreational spaces. Schools can choose from a wide range of activities including Kayaking, High Ropes, Climbing, Archery, Raft Building, archery, orienteering, and many many more!
Programmes are designed and delivered by the camp team to support personal growth, teamwork, and leadership in a safe and supportive setting. Motutapu is well suited to schools seeking a memorable and meaningful camp experience in a remote, natural environment.
