Pine Valley Outdoor Centre is located on the Northbank of the Wairau Valley at the base of Mt Fishtail in Marlborough. Set in a scenic natural environment, the centre offers a relaxed, back-to-nature experience with the convenience of a dedicated camp base.
The site includes large kitchen facilities, halls for sleeping or activities, a fire pit, playground, waterslide, and plenty of outdoor space. It can accommodate up to 60 overnight guests and is available for single-use bookings, giving schools exclusive access during their stay.
The centre is a former school now operated as a non-profit community camp by volunteers, with caretakers living onsite. Schools are responsible for running their own programmes, making Pine Valley a suitable option for self-managed camps in a quiet, rural setting.
