It's not the flashest campground but it's the most beautiful place. Be with nature and the birds. It a beautiful place to go to reconnect and just chillax

Our host Kevin was very kind and friendly! The kitchen was so clean and tidy. We had a wonderful stay here at Te Wera. Highly recommended 😊

Amazing place. Host is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great equipment of the whole camp. Unfortunately, we stayed only 1 night but can imagine to stay a whole week. Hot showers without limitations. Probably best camp we have visited in North Island since we started our trip 3 weeks ago.

We had a fantastic stay at the campground! Kevin was a pleasant and accommodating host who provided a quick orientation of all the amenities. His hospitality was exceptional, ensuring we felt right at home. The campgrounds were perfect for families, with plenty of child-friendly activities to keep the little ones entertained. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for one night with our van. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook properly again after about a month on the street. The showers are clean and hot. You pay six New Zealand dollars for the laundry. You also get detergent and the dryer for that.

The host is very nice and led us over the whole area and showed us everything in detail. If you have any questions, you can always visit him and ask him for advice and or help. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.
