Profile
The Y Camp Adair, located in the Hunua Ranges, offers fully facilitated school camp programmes for students in Years 5 to 13. The site includes three self-contained camp areas — Sir Woolf Fisher Lodge, Lookout Village, and Kiwi Lodge — each with its own bunk-style accommodation, dining hall, and bathroom facilities.
Programmes are delivered by qualified instructors and are built around experiential learning and challenge by choice. Activities include high ropes, climbing wall, giant swing, flying fox, kayaking, raft building, archery, confidence course, bush survival, river crossing, orienteering, team initiatives, low ropes, and night games like Possum.
Camp Adair’s school camps are designed to build resilience, self-confidence, and teamwork, with the flexibility to tailor programmes to the needs of each school and year level.
The Y Camp Adair is a well-established option for schools seeking a fully supported outdoor education experience in a natural and purpose-built setting.
